These are the prices of Home Resetters Property Services Inc., an incorporated handyman and property-services company in Toronto that works across Toronto, Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough, Mississauga, and Vaughan, and runs a cottage-care membership for GTA owners with cottages in Nipissing and North Bay, Temagami, Almaguin Highlands, and Huntsville and Lake of Bays.
We are setting our published from-prices now. Until a price appears in the table, it shows as TBD, and every job is still quoted the same way: in writing, at a flat rate, before any work starts.
City services
"From" is the lowest price for a typical job of that kind; "Counted" is how that price is counted; "Minimum" is the smallest charge for a visit.

What changes a quote

The list itself
How many pieces, fixes or rooms, and which models. A list with photos and model numbers gets the most exact quote.

The wall or the surface
Concrete takes longer to drill than drywall, and plaster takes more care. Anchoring and cable work add to a mounting job.

Access
Stairs, the distance from parking to the door, and condo rules such as elevator slots and drilling hours change how long a job takes.

Materials and disposal
A TV mount we supply, packaging we take away, or a load of junk to dispose of is added to the quote as its own line.

Licensed trades
When a job needs an electrician or a plumber, their price goes into the same written quote or contract, with their name on it.
How quotes and payment work
Every quote is written and flat-rate: you see the price for the job before we begin, and it only changes if the job changes, in writing. Ontario requires a written contract for any home renovation worth more than $50, and our larger projects use one that names every trade, the payment schedule and any deposit.
Invoices and payments run through Square, so you can pay online by card. For larger projects, any deposit and the payment schedule are set out in your contract before you pay anything.
