About Home Resetters
Updated
Home Resetters Property Services Inc. is an incorporated handyman and property-services company based in downtown Toronto. It serves Toronto, Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough, Mississauga, and Vaughan, and offers a cottage-care membership for GTA owners with cottages in Nipissing and North Bay, Temagami, Almaguin Highlands, and Huntsville and Lake of Bays.
Who we are
Home Resetters was founded by Rick. The company works out of downtown Toronto, and the brand line says what it is for: hit the reset button on your home.
“Hi, I’m Rick and I started Home Resetters so your home can be a place of relief, not a to-do list. Whether you’re drowning in unfinished tasks or just need a hand, allow me to reset your home so you can get back to enjoying the space you deserve.”
The founder does the light work personally: furniture assembly, TV and art mounting, and the small repairs that pile up in a home. Plumbing, electrical work and heavy concrete go to licensed contractors the founder knows, coordinated by us and written into your quote or contract. That split is deliberate: it keeps small jobs simple to book, and it keeps regulated work with the people licensed to do it.
Incorporation
The company's legal name is Home Resetters Property Services Inc. It was incorporated in 2023 and renamed Home Resetters in 2026.
How trade partners are chosen
We make one claim about our partners, and it is the one the law cares about: each holds the licence or certificate their trade requires in Ontario.
- Electrical work goes only to a Licensed Electrical Contractor. The Electrical Safety Authority says only Licensed Electrical Contractors may be hired to do electrical work in your home, and the contractor files the notification that gets the work inspected.
- Plumbing goes to a plumber who holds a certificate of qualification, as Ontario requires for its compulsory trades.
- Heavy concrete goes to a concrete contractor, with any permit named in your contract.
- Every partner is named in your written quote or contract, along with who pays them, so you can check their licence yourself.

Why every quote is written
Ontario requires a written contract for any home renovation worth more than $50, and we think the same habit belongs on a small job. A written, flat-rate quote means you know the price before we start, and nobody has to remember what was said on the phone.
The move north
By January 2027 the founder moves to North Bay to run the cottage-care membership in person: scheduled checks with a photo report after every visit, spring openings and fall closings for GTA owners with cottages in Nipissing and North Bay, Temagami, Almaguin Highlands, and Huntsville and Lake of Bays.
How Toronto jobs are handled after the move: TBD
